Dr Teh is a GP Principal, GP Trainer & Director of Boon Health Centre.

He is registered and recognised as a specialist GP with the qualifications MRCGP (UK) and FRACGP (Australia).

He is a graduate of both University of Oxford & University of Cambridge medical schools.

Dr Teh was awarded his BA degree in Medicine from the University of Cambridge with double 1st class honours and the Rolleston Scholarship for Medicine by the University. He was a member of St John's College during his time there. His performance was also recognised with multiple College Academic Prizes.

Dr Teh went on to complete his clinical training at the University of Oxford, graduating in 2006 with the qualification BMBCh.

His training was delivered by the specialists of the Oxford University Hospitals, an international centre at the forefront of musculoskeletal, surgical and cancer research.

He was awarded the Tutor’s Prize for Surgery by the University for his ability in this field and this was followed by a Masters degree (MA) in Medicine from the University of Cambridge.

The following 8 years were spent working within the city of London, culminating in the achievement of partnership at his practice in Notting Hill.

His postgraduate training was delivered at leading London teaching hospitals (the Chelsea and Westminster & the Charing Cross) while also serving as tutor to medical students of Imperial College. During this period Dr Teh was required to work independently within specialist clinics in aged care, general medicine, general surgery, ENT, neurology and paediatrics. These experiences provided him with the more advanced skills and knowledge that he now applies to the diagnosis and treatment of his own patients. He also has extensive experience working in some of the UK’s busiest Emergency Departments, handling trauma cases, serious and life threatening conditions.

He is strongly committed to evidence-based practice and his research has been published in international medical journals in the areas of gastroenterology and neurology. Dr Teh is committed to improving community and public health, having served the Notting Hill area in London as an NHS GP Principal and helping to shape the city’s Health service as a member of the West London Commissioning Consortium. As clinical lead for Anticoagulation he was in charge of city policy for medicine safety and the education of his fellow GPs.

Since moving to practice in Australia in 2014, Dr Teh spent an initial 4 years working in Perth (WA) within a team of midwives and obstetricians to provide specialist antenatal care. He carries those skills into his role as an accredited antenatal GP shared care provider at BHC.

Aesthetic Medicine & Dermatology
Dr. Teh serves as a Director and co-Founder of both BHC Aesthetics and Boon Health Centre.

He is the clinical leader within the practice for dermatology, dermoscopy, and skin surgery, with over a decade of applied experience in these fields.

In addition to his expertise in medical dermatology, Dr. Teh also holds qualifications in both Aesthetic and Cosmetic Medicine and is a member of the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine (ACAM).

As some of the earliest providers of the Picosure Pro™ laser in NSW, the Directors of BHC Aesthetics are particularly skilled in the art and science of laser skin rejuvenation, treating pigmentation, and employing the innovative Cynoglow™ protocol in conjunction with Potenza™ RF technology.

Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
Dr. Teh completed two years of specialised ENT surgical training before embarking on his GP career in the UK, giving him a solid foundation in advanced ear, nose, and throat care. With over 15 years of hands-on experience performing microscopic ear procedures, he is highly skilled in delivering precise, safe and effective treatments using this technique.

For this specialised service, he is not only trusted by the many patients with complex ear conditions under his care, but also by a wide network of audiologists, GPs, and specialists who consistently refer cases to him for his expert opinion and treatment.
