VR GP 

At BHC we are always looking to add skilled new members to our team of experienced General Practitioners . This is an exciting opportunity to contribute and develop your skills alongside fellow dynamic and accomplished GPs to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide exemplary and evidence-based clinical care to patients of all ages.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop holistic and individualised treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in practice meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Fellowship and Vocational Registration with the RACGP
  • Proven experience in general practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of our team.

GP Registrar

As an RACGP-accredited centre for the training of GP registrars, we warmly welcome inquiries from prospective trainees interested in joining our team. 

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using our practice’s electronic health system.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
  • Provide follow-up care, safety-netting and monitoring of patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current enrolment in the RACGP GP training program.
  • Excellent clinical skills with a strong focus on evidence-based and patient-centred care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a large team.
  • Time management skills and a a strong work ethic.

Practice Nurse

We are always open to adding another compassionate and skilled Practice Nurse to the BHC team. In this role, you will be working alongside our doctors to ensure that our patients continue to receive the highest standard of care.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care, including baby checks, childhood and travel vaccinations.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, blood pressure checks, care plans and health assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Educate patients on health management and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in a general practice or primary care setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Reception Team

We are looking to expand our team of friendly and organised Reception staff members. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in fostering the warm, welcoming atmosphere that our patients at BHC cherish. Join us in making a positive impact on their experience!

Key responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients with kindness and empathy.
  • Manage bookings and respond to patient inquiries by phone/email.
  • Maintain patient records and manage administrative tasks.
  • Clinical triage and liaison with other healthcare providers.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in use of BestPractice Clinical software preferable but not essential
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
